Getting to know…. Dan Charles – Support Desk

We’re really excited to have Dan onboard the tmWare team.  He really stood out to us in his interview in terms of his experience, attitude and fit for the team.  He has been with the team for 8 months now and is already making a great contribution to the business.  Dan works alongside Sam on the support desk, so you have probably already had some interactions with him.

Here are a few words from Dan…

“Hello, I’m Dan Charles and I’ve really enjoyed my first few months with tmWare. I have a good background in customer
service; having worked in this area for the last 10 years. Computing has always been an interest of mine – it’s been amazing to get into the software side of the business and learn more.
I recently got married and have been enjoying married life, we are due to welcome our first child into the world very soon.  My Wife and I bought our first house together about
4 years ago and I’ve been slowly building up my DIY skills to help with smaller jobs around the house and so
that I can landscape our garden.
I started to play guitar from a young age, so music is a passion of mine. I was part of a band for many years
and we were rather big in Birmingham, playing on a weekly basis at bars and clubs around the city. We also
recorded a couple of albums and even headlined at the o2 Academy (having our name in lights on the outside
was a personal highlight). Now I still compose music in my spare time, and I’ve released a couple of solo
works. I’m usually into heavier music, my favourite band is called Asking Alexandria, but I listen to all genres
from Indie to Dance.
I like to see myself as a forward thinker, who always contemplates on ways to improve things. When tackling a
problem, I will see it through and attempt ways to fix the issue to stop it happening again.”
