The Covid-19 lockdown was a strange time for all of us. We found that it made us reflect on things a bit differently. Maybe it was because time didn’t seem to flow properly anymore; it gave us some breathing room to think. It was during this period that we decided to take a giant leap, as it were, and get round to refreshing our brand. So, welcome to our new website.
Modernising the brand
Now that we’d made the decision that our brand definitely needed reinvigoration, we chose the team at PLOTT. We have worked with PLOTT for years and knew they were the ones to create our new brand identity and website. Our old website was practical and still attractive, and there was nothing wrong with it per se, but we wanted a cleaner, modern look, and one that shows our growth as a business.
Transforming our words into messages
PLOTT began by running a branding workshop in which we went back to the basics to figure out exactly what it was we wanted. PLOTT knew just what questions to ask to dig deep into the business, not just what we do – but why we do it. Sounds simple? Perhaps, but it’s not easy. I think, in business, we all focus on the what – which makes sense day to day, but for this exercise PLOTT needed to know our “why?” They fed this information into the DNA of the new brand, and used their understanding to develop the key messages on the site.
The outcome of this was our request for a more modern website, in-line with our new business model, and we wanted it to be just as easy to use as our software. The result? This beautiful new website which is both clean and fresh but it still isn’t too far from what we all know and love.
PLOTT also recommended a case studies page for the site. This gives us an opportunity to show-off our work, and to update with future case-studies. This was something our previous website lacked and we feel it’s a really strong addition.
Let us know what you think
We love our new branding, with thanks to PLOTT, but feel free to let us know your thoughts too. Send us an email, we’d love to read your feedback.
