The Job Diary allows you to view and plan your trips from one screen. Along the top is a summary of trips broken down by day and region. The regions are configurable to suit how you operate. The unplanned jobs are then displayed underneath and can be filtered by date and region and sorted by column header. They can also be colour coded to differenciate between services, or collections and deliveries etc. To build a trip, simply create a new vehicle from the right hand side of the screen, then select your unplanned jobs and load them on. Trips can be built up, amended and viewed until the planner is happy with them. Then all paperwork can be printed from this screen. Vehicles are then beifed out from this screen and also debeifed, with options to add POD information (if not using the Mobile POD application) Resource allocation can also be done from here, using a list of pre-defined vehicles and drivers. The resources are held in a resource calendar, which allows you to manually manage holidays and vehicle servicing. This powerful tool gives you complete visibility and control all from one screen, which assists the planner in optimising the trips. This can also be combined with a Route Optimisation engine, where unplanned jobs are exported to the routing engine and re-imported as planned trips. |
