Utilising the latest technology, tmWare can now offer full GPS tracking and location capture facilities, providing the complete value add for realtime
updates.
Geo-fencing With GPS, features such as Geo-fencing for timed deliveries can be configured, giving you advanced warning if a delivery will not make the slot. A customer is far more responsive to a pro-active phone call than having to make the call themselves after the delivery has failed to arrive. Last Known Location GPS location capture allows you to take a GPS snapshot when an action is taken, for example when a consignment is signed for. This requires a GPS compatible PDA, which then sends the information directly to the central server for instant visibilty of where the consignment was signed for. This can be particularly useful when delivering to large customer site with various offices and warehouses. The customer is able to enquire on the consignment and get a pin point on a map, together with the signature. Vehicle tracking A GPS compatible PDA can be utilised to track the Driver/vehicle on a map. Alternatively a feed from a vehicle fitted black box can be taken in and the data displayed in the same way. |
